In 2007 I obtained a B.A. in English Language & Literature, and in 2012 a Masters in Teaching Secondary Education, both from the University of South Carolina. Go Gamecocks!

Professionally, the skills gained through my 10 year career as an educator that directly translate to learning and development duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: organization, time management, project management, coaching/mentoring, designing and revising course curriculum, designing instructional content and deliverables, Bloom’s Taxonomy, Backwards Design, and virtual/remote education.

Personally, as a mother of three I have been taught patience, compassion, empathy, and grace (this one is especially for me). These essential qualities of parenting have also aided me in my everyday interaction with colleagues and students. Direct connection with another's humanity leaves a greater lasting impression and impact than anything I could ever teach in a classroom.
